Beware! I had a total of three phone calls with this firm, all with different lawyers over a five month period. The first call was when I asked them to represent me and the third was in response to a letter I sent, requesting information about my claim. Terrible, all they want is your money! No service, you have to push for everything you need done , and you have to bring it to there attention and wait a week or two for a response! But there right there with the bill !
Spoke briefly over the phone counsel. Counsel was very rude while repeatedly missing key points. He spoke in a way that failed to correlate with how all other attorneys did.

After trying 5 other inexperienced lawyers and thoroughly studying the issue Shapiro emerged as the leader. Reading ECAB decisions confirms their knowledge and expertise. Adapting to shifting ECAB rulings the ever changing field demands real time reactions. These Attorneys get it and do it. 14 yr. old case. Making progress.
The attorney Alan Shapiro at the law firm of Shapiro, Shapiro & Shapiro has been the best OWCP attorney I have ever had. He was the fifth attorney to handle my case and he was the ONLY one who got it settled - in my favor! I would recommend the firm in a heartbeat!
Spoke with or dare I say tried to speak with one of the Shapiros today and I have never had someone speak over me, speak at me or dismiss me in such a condescending way, as I learn and meanuver my way through a frustrating experience with OWCP. As I'm sure you know dealing with DOL is frustrating enough, but you so added to the experience with such arrogance. Simply vial. You were disgustingly rude, abrupt and insensitive. Namaste!
