My mother moved here 3 months ago. She's 95,and is absolutely loving it here! Participating in everything,meeting new people,having her friends from other places come visit,and enjoying her meals! Her space is beautifully appointed! Great retirement choice!

I would like to comment on an amazing person, Rabbi Shmuly Altein, Z"L that came to the Shaftesbury Park Retirement Residence for many years to spend time with the residents, including my parents. He taught the residents all about their Jewish heritage, Jewish holidays and the meaning of life and what it means to be a good person. He taught by example. I can't say enough positive things about the care at this institution - particularly their memory care unit, The Boulevard. The staff treat residents like they are a member of their own family. Every effort is made to provide good nutrition, enrichment activities and to meet all of their physical and emotional care needs. The staff have so much experience and expertise in dealing with issues related to aging and dementia.
