Mr. Shafi has been our family accountant for over 20 years. Not only is he incredibly transparent about the goings-on of our individual circumstances, but he is very thorough and expeditious when it comes to generating tax returns and providing us solid advice for the future. I highly recommend his services if ever you need someone to provide you with the utmost care, profound expertise, and an "open book" to all things germane to accounting.
My Shaffi emailed our personal information (SS numbers, birth dates, bank acct. numbers) over the internet because he was upset we had gone to another tax person. He was very unprofessional then and now. We are still missing documents from prior years he did our work, and his reply to me last week was " I have hundreds of clients, I am too busy to answer any questions, call me in a couple of months". He was very nice until I started asking questions.
I have used Tariq Shafi CPA for the past 5 years or so. He has always been 100% professional , courteous and reliable. He has not been judgemental of me when my paperwork was in a disarray and has made many helpful suggestions as far as me dealing with my business and personal taxes.
