Paralegal Dan Schofield forgot to send my evidence before a settlement conference. Showed up to the conference unprepared and with nothing to represent my side. Then pressured me to take a low offer from opposing party. When question after he promised a full refund then tried to change to a low partial refund. When I questioned this he said to go ahead and submit a LSO complaint. Treated like a joke.
Very disappointing. I had contacted SFG to help me enforce a default judgement. I had a consultation meeting scheduled that was cancelled after which I was told I would be contacted within days. That was over three weeks ago. I have just been ignored and shunted aside. Disrespectful and outright rude. If they did not want to help me they could have the common courtesy to call or even a quick e-mail. I would advise people not to use this company.
We hired SFG Paralegal and worked with Victoria Marr for an LTB matter, but our experience was very disappointing. Key errors were made in the advice and filing, which negatively affected our case. Victoria later became unavailable, and a replacement attended the hearing unprepared and unfamiliar with our file. Communication afterward was also poor, with responsibility shifted back to us.
