Mark and I enjoyed renting the e- bikes from Seward Bike Shop. We took them all the way to Miller's Landing and all around the bike trail in Seward. They have lots of bikes, like, something for everyone.

I love this place. Karl’s bicycle seats exude the rich, nostalgic aroma of exquisitely seasoned pleather. Sometimes I fake having a conversation in his shop just to get a good whiff.

Friendly staff, good vibes, great bikes, I personally don’t smell bike seats ( prior review ) but if that’s your kink.. we (do)n’t kink shame.

Fantastic work & service! I went to purchase a bike to ride around town & they went above & beyond to make sure I was compatible with the bike (making sure I got the right size for my height/etc). And then before final purchase, they put the bike up to check all parts, guaranteeing that it was in tip top condition & had no issues! Can’t recommend enough😊

TL;DR: don’t rent bikes from Karl/Seward bike shop. They are expensive, poorly maintained, and worst of all, unsafe Went here to rent bikes for a ride along Seward highway. Karl rented a (mostly) nice E-bike to me, but rented a poorly maintained, extremely unsafe bike to my partner. His bike had a loose fender, bent steering column (headset), and a flat front tire.
