We came for a tasting . Disappointed with the service we were the only 4 ppl here they didnt even explain the wines . Asked for water to refresh palete between tasting was told basically get our own from the water tap in garden which was not good . Wines were very basic we had 2 paddles of different types to which we purchase none to take home .
This is a beautiful winery, not only for the wines But the beautiful buildings church and atmosphere . Tess served us our wine tasting. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. A lovely person that enhanced our visit. We left with some beautiful wines and a lovely port. If you visit the Clear Valley this is a must visit.
Very disappointing tasting for $10 base and $30 premium range with none worth purchasing. For a $30 tasting experience in most wineries you would get much more as well as significantly better wines.

A shady, tranquil stop on the Valley’s very enjoyable Riesling Trail, to while away the afternoon under the oak trees with a tasting paddle and selection of delicious cheeses, smallgoods etc. Be sure to visit the crypt beneath the Church, historic Weikert Cottage, and the winery’s underground cellar.
