In my opinion you cannot have a greater misfortune for your children or yourself than to have Darius Sethna appointed as your GAL. And he advocated for at least 50-50 and that’s what the kids and I got, by their request: two parental allocation judgments, 3 judges orders. A few of the candid statements I heard during the 2+ years until he finally was off the case: 1. Teenagers will always want to stay with the lackadaisical parent - its up to you to provide them stability at your home 2. We will give greater weight to what the kids want 🤦♂️ 3. I sincerely hope the court never appoints this individual as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for your child. In my experience, he does not take into account the concerns presented, even when provided with clear evidence. The child has undergone significant changes, largely due to the other parent influencing them with negative perceptions. Four years after the divorce, we are still facing numerous challenges. Horrible experience if I could give a negative star review I would. Attorney Darius Sethna was appointed as GAL for my case. Hard evidence was presented to him, proving that my daughter‘s mother was actively coaching my daughter to lie to me for months also questioning my daughter on what is being asked and talked about with the GAL which I was told both are very very inappropriate.
