I recently had a disappointing experience at Servus Credit Union's Westgate branch in Edmonton. The branch manager was aware about this appointment as I was coming from Calgary and it could be delay due to heavy traffic in western area. Shove their fees through before month end so they can collect extra NSF fees, even though the money was there. Slimy business practice, SERVUS! When and if you can get them on the phone, all they want to do is enroll you in more terrible SERVUS products. There is a reason my car loan, mortgage, credit cards and investments are not with SERVUS: It's because they clearly can't even manage a simple checking account for me.
They recently updated a new app for online banking. I tried logging in, and after 1 attempt my account was locked. I’ve been on hold everyday this week for over 45 minutes. I’ve left a call back number but no response. They are completely overwhelmed with the number of people dealing with the same problem. They continue to have the worst customer service and do nothing about. I will be switching my banking, Servus is 20 years behind
