I have been a member of first Calgary credit Union since 2001. Now that I'm leaving the country I decided to cancel all my authorized bill payments from my checking account. The girl was very belligerent and told me that it would be $20 for each one. I had phoned in to find out what I needed to cancel them and I specifically asked if there was anything else I needed. After nearly 15 years with them, the advisor I spoke to would not negotiate or even entertain negotiating matching competitors mortgage rates, would not let me discuss with anyone else or ask a higher level, forced me to move all my banking to RBC. Thanks for the loyalty guys!....they even gave me a better rate than what I was asking you for.
