I have been a member of Sertoma for almost 20 years! Our Hearts~n~Hands club mission of spreading sunshine to those going through cancer and hearing health are both important to me as a breast cancer survivor and I'm on my 3rd pair of hearing aids! Sertoma has offered me opportunities to grow in leadership roles serving as President, Secretary, Region Development Chair and now Allegheny Canada Region Director. I've also made lifelong friends and you can too.
Having spent roughly 40 years as a volunteer in many different organizations, Sertoma is by far the most impactful charity in which I have been involved. Their Hearing Aid Bank is a game changer in making hearing aids available to the most financially impacted populations allowing for countless people to lead successful, meaningful lives. Each year between the National organization and their clubs spread throughout the US, Canada & Mexico Sertoma delivers millions of $$$$$$ in hearing products, education and resources.
