My experience started very poorly from the website where I can't make a successful booking through so I proceeded to calling them and Caroline on the phone was not proficient or unable to take a simple request which was very frustrating. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with her achieving nothing, with no bookings made. When we got there, she told me "oh that spot has been taken by an online booking". The venue is beautiful and I had high hopes. Especially when they began with you selecting your scent for the massage. But my aromatherapy massage was seriously lacking. It lacked flow and rhythm to make it relaxing. Mix of elbow pressure in odd places (at one point more my kidney than my muscle) to almost very little pressure in places like my shoulders and shoulder blades where I held a lot of tension. My husband and I received a massage here. I had a pregnancy massage which was average, no pressure was used and when she was massaging my feet she massaged through the towel without any oil even though I had specified at the start that my calves and feet were the areas I wanted to focus on. My husband had a deep tissue massage and his masseuse was sick and took a toilet break during the massage. He used hardly any pressure and was also reading something on his phone during the massage.
