They stopped returning my calls after I mentioned that I was disappointed that the case file lawyer didn’t read my email - with facts that could end the quarrel- for over 3 weeks! They should be ashamed.
I agree with the reviews that there is a culture of not wanting to help at Seniors Rights Service which is a worry as they are there to help with problems about elder abuse etc. We had emails not responded to, phone calls terminated with staff using their power to trample over the rights of the elderly to make complaints and seek help from this service and staff even supporting the wrong behaviour being reported. I wrote a negative review 10 months ago. I am now currently being supported by this service after calling it on service provision in the aged care sector. I can't praise them higher. I will advocate for seniors everywhere. I don't know what took place, how things changed or what the penny dropping needed to happen was, but it happened. My advice is to go through OPAN. Google it. Access them first and get them to initiate your contact. Good luck.
