Very welcoming. The food is good. Liked going with manuel "Route 66" and doug. It's been a few years since I been there. Love to go back...soon.

Truly the nicest & most caring folks in Newberry Springs, along with Rt. 66 animal rescue. The thrift store is well stocked with great low prices. The Drifting Sands Cafe, aptly named, is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, is phenomenal with truly delicious food & great prices. The service is also excellent! FIVE STARS
Drifting Sands Cafe. Also known as The Family Center. Or The Senior Center. Its a Friendly, clean, locals cafe. 7 am-2 Wed-Sunday. Breakfast and lunch. Specials everyday. I love the club sandwich. It is so tall I can hardly take a bite. Pancakes are excellent. Kid friendly. Visit the thrift store. Free Wifi. Clean bathrooms. Visit the Newberry Springs Chamber of Commerce office located inside the back area for maps and local info.
