I was introduced to The Fund in 2019 when I was at my lowest. I was full of deep wounds and carried such guilt and shame. I also wasn’t a descent human being. I allowed my trauma and my pain to bleed all over people who never cut me. I will never give a dime to this organization again. Our smaller detachment has held fundraisers and donated over $40,000 to this foundation over the past 10 years. When one of our Marines with family at home was seriously injured he was denied in less than 24 hours and the Semper Fi Foundation stated they do not give to anyone that was hurt after 2011. Before you donate to this organization, pls know the facts. I'm a combat veteran of the USMC and this cult denied me, in my time of desperate need. Shame on the Semper Fi & America's fund...SHAME! One star is the lowest choice afforded, but I would have ranked them lower. Shame!
