Absolutely shameful business practices. While most of the world is working to reduce late fees and help borrowers stay on track, this servicer has the nerve to charge excessive fees for making early or even on time payments. 5/3 & these people are worse! Paid my house off & tried to put a Lean on my house with a federal judge reseat. Huntington Bank ran my mortgage no Lean rocket no Lean scamming seniors.House mortgage paid, no Lean maybe time for federal housing complaint? Over 300+reviews on Google and 29 on your website wow locked it down don't want people to see what you are doing? Now 500 ! Just trying to do my job, and they wouldn't let me in to do what i needed to.
Overnighted an insurance check to SPS on 5/10 for endorsement—still no action nearly a month later. Despite a 3–7 day processing window, it’s stuck due to internal errors and ignored escalation emails. Reps pass the buck, no one takes ownership. SPS clearly has broken systems and zero customer focus. This isn’t a one-off—others report similar issues. Avoid if you want competence or accountability.
This is the absolute worst mortgage company. Please steer clear!
