I enjoyed my experience with Sego Lily. This was my 5th labor/delivery- my first 4 were in hospital with an epidural. I didn't have any complaints about my hospital births, but what I learned through this experience really opened my eyes. Heather is very knowledgeable and had holistic answers and explanations to any questions I had. It has taken me some time to process the traumatic experience I had during a phone call with Heather this summer and I feel compelled to warn women who are considering this place. I had a missed miscarriage in June and I was desperate to get an ultrasound between my confirmation scans. I called Sego Lily to request an ultrasound out of pocket since my insurance only covered the ones provided by my OBGYN. I cannot speak highly enough of Heather. As a second time mama just weeks away from birth, we got news our original birth center unexpectedly closed down– leaving us with having to find a new provider last minute. Heather answered my phone call and brought immediate relief to my stress with her reassurance and guidance through such a stressful time. They say nothing can prepare you for childbirth, and while that may be true, looking back I couldn't imagine going through the process of planning and research without the guidance of Heather. Heather came to our house on December 10th and helped my wife and I deliver our first born son, naturally, and without any traditional medical intervention.
