Yesterday I went to this branch to get a print out of my banking statement; simple and easy, so I thought. Instead, I had the worst encounter with their teller and supervisor. I have been an account holder with SEFCU/Broadview for about 14 years now and this interaction was uncalled for and not warranted! I politely spoke to the teller, showed her my valid NYS Driver's License that is not expired, gave her my account number and asked for a print out of my banking statement. Nothing but headaches. Go somewhere else because this service is mediocre.
I wish I could give them zero stars. I had an auto loan with them that was paid via electronic transfer of funds from NBT Bank every month. I paid the loan off in full. After 2 months, Broadview was still reporting the auto loan is open on my credit report and they were still taking the monthly payment out of my NBT account. I called Broadview 6 times and was told the money that they took out of my NBT account would be deposited into my Broadview savings account. But that didn't happen. So I called them again. The staff is always respectful and does a great job answering all my banking questions. This is my go to bank in the capital region.
