Purchased a box of truffles. The truffle centers, which should be moist, were dry and flaking. Tried different truffles to see if the issue affected a single truffle or the entire box. It's the entire box. It was an expensive lesson to learn.

I grew up in California and See's Candy is my favorite. Especially the dark chocolate. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it. The workers are always helpful and pleasant.
Very cool candy shop. Very kind staff. Was offered a free sample upon entry, and was given different options for the free sample. They have paper menus showing all of their chocolates, and all are on display as well. Very many options, between milk and dark chocolate, which are clearly separated and labeled. And both are separated further for chocolate with and without nuts, which I personally greatly appreciate. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
