Volunteering here is almost a selfish act because I enjoy it so much. It's a delight to see the children identifying different herbs in the garden, hanging out with the chickens in their pen, and cooking nutritious meals in the kitchen. Herb, Trevor, and Aaron are wonderful people doing important work.
Been a community gardener here for two years and my daughter was part of the DIG crew many years ago. Absolutely love the wonderful work and people at SEEDS. The garden is always the perfect get-away for me.
Tons of happy volunteers showed up today to slosh around in the mud to do prep work spring. I posted 3 photos earlier this afternoon.
