I've seen all the bad reviews for Sedgwick but I recently had to deal with this company for an insurance claim, at first there service was really bad, I had two people that I found very rude by the name of Felix, he was snappy and showed absolutely no compassion to my situation which was no fault of my own due to a massive storm on xmas day. Would give less than One Star if possible! Sedgwick only works as brokers for insurance companies - paid for by the insurer, so it isn't a good idea for them to finish a job quickly! They prefer to drag things out as long as possible, so they can make more money at the Insurers expense! Avoid this company whenever possible, and if you are put onto them, change to your own brokers... as that way you may get a better result! I wish I could give less than one star. They rarely return phone calls or respond to emails. Original claim was April 2019, repair completed September 2019. The contractor appointed by them botched the job. Reported this to Sedgwick in March 2021. (The delay in reporting the issues was due to lockdowns). It is October 2022, and the repair has still not been done, and we are having to live with badly warped floorboards, skirting boards that are coming away from the walls & doors that only open part way, as they are catching o... read more

One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. We still haven’t had any repairs conducted on our property from the damage the VIC storms caused last year in October. No communication or response despite numerous attempts to try and contact them via phone and email either. Very disappointing in the extremely poor service.
