My family and I have been bank with Security State band my whole life (35 years old). They are the epitome of a local, community,friendly, customer-first independent bank. They have four locations and are always available by phone when open, have excellent customer service, have a customer first philosophy, never attempt to take advantage, and are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Just used their ATM. Very convenient, easy to drive up to.
The best small-town bank I've ever had the pleasure to partner with. The online platform and app are both very good for a small bank, they pick up the phone and personally call you if there is unusual activity on your account, and the tellers know their patrons, and are very skilled and helpful.
Terrible service. They have messed up my account on multiple occasions. Every time they made a mistake my account got locked and I barely get an apology. Nothing good to say.
