Stuart is a true professional. He took great care with my wife's grandmother's rocking chair and returned it to us better than ever. We were using it to rock our children to sleep when they were very little several years ago when a screw failed and the back of the chair cracked off the base. It is now good as ever and my wife could not be happier. Would recommend to anyone looking for furniture repair.

Where do I even begin with how happy I am with my restored chest! This 1950’s cedar chest belonged to my Grandmother and sadly, over the years, it collected gigantic water rings on the top and the veneer was crackled everywhere. I’m a bit of a DIY’er and thought maybe I could refinish it myself. After gallons of citrus strip and more hours sanding than I’d like to admit… I had to wave the white flag. Stuart refinished my Mother’s childhood roll top desk (approx 85 years old). He did a wonderful job and was great to work with. Professional, timely, responsive and very talented. The two pictures on the left are “before” and the three on the right are the “after”. Thank you again Stuart.

I hired Stuart to restore a pine coffee table that had been in our family for almost 70 years. The table had a huge stain ring almost in the center and a lot of scratches. It needed to be restored to its original beauty. This table had a lot of sentimental value and Stuart took that to heart. Pine wood is a very difficult wood to stain, but Stuart put his knowledge, heart and soul into this piece. We hired Stuart to refinish an old cedar chest (over 90 years old) that belonged to my grandmother. He was able to enhance the wood features and design, while maintaining the character, history, and integrity of the piece.
