In our kitchen, a 5-ft high-end 18-in wide cabinet door got badly broken. Because it was custom-made, replacing it would have been ridiculously expensive, and it never would have looked right, so we came to John to repair it. He did an amazing job and it looks like new. Nice guy. I highly recommend his service.
The past month I took two chairs to be caned and John did an excellent job on them both. One was broken in the chair seat and he repaired it—could not tell where it was broken. Very quick and excellent service and very reasonably priced. I give him a ! I would recommend him and this store and will go there again if I need furniture repaired. A very pleased customer.
We had an older cane chair that I broke when sitting on it. The wood split, the cane weaving broke, and the trim split. I doubted that it could be repaired and if so, it would surely bear the scars of repair. John completely restored it. I couldn’t be more surprised or pleased.
I'm completely amazed! John just restored our live edge desk that had taken a beating when we worked from home during COVID. We originally bought the table from Simply Amish. I was super nervous letting someone else work on it...but I could not be happier! The table seriously looks even better than before! The nicks, chips and indents are gone. John restored my grandmother’s hutch from the late 1800s, and we are thrilled with how it turned out. Great customer service throughout the process with updates on progress and inviting us to the shop to choose the stain and hardware. Especially pleased with John restoring the mirror which had a wide bevel and would have been extremely pricey to replace with a new one. Highly recommend them if you have a special piece you want to bring back to life!
