They will tell you that you used the wrong form and have to call to get an emailed copy, then do a 'courtesy disconnect' when you call, all instead of just posting the form online on their existing Court Forms webpage or including it on their online portal. This makes absolutely no sense. Online portal also does not seem to send you any email communications about important updates. Feels like a stacked racket and nowhere near a just institution. We all deserve better.

Got caught by a red light camera. As I enter the intersection the light turns red. I live in Idaho so it’s not even worth it to drive over there and go to court over it. This is a very broken system clearly used to prey on those who are from out of town. Just add it to the list of reasons why I hate going anywhere near this cesspool of a city.

I want to preface that going into this establishment, was on par to the feeling of entering a king's throne hall and begging for just circumstances. I went for a hearing due to illegal actions a state sector is committing against me, that has ever increasing fees. I was allotted less than 3 days for a hearing when I'm legally required a week. I walked in with full spectrum evidence, timeline, government filings, plaintiff document trail (or lack thereof), sourcing, and pages of highlighted legal code. I was pushed out of the... read more
