About

Seattle Meowtropolitan is the first cat cafe in Seattle! Here you can order a drink (like a catpuccino), head to a separate room, and then settle in with a coffee and friendly felines. For the next 50 minutes you can play with the cats, cuddle with them, or just take adorable pictures while you enjoy your beverage. If you can't get enough, all of the cats are up for adoption by the Regional Animal Services of King County! Make sure you make reservations before visiting Seattle Meowtropolitan since the cafe only holds 15 guests at a time so the cats aren't overwhelmed.

Baristas were great. Coffee was great. Saw a few overly invasive patrons who probably aren't familiar with how cats "work". The girl working in the cat area was very friendly and interacted with the patrons. My only suggestion, to avoid confusion for new walk-in customers, is a sign of some sort to explain the process. I saw one outside, but it will probably help ease the burden on staff to have one inside as well. I can just imagine people walking straight into the cat area without reservations. Overall, a great experience. Can't wait to come back.
Business Response:

Thanks for the suggestion, Jacob. We're continuing to work on the flow of the cafe and looking for ways to explain the process to unfamiliar customers. As for invasive patrons, we can only strive to educate them and guide their interactions with the cats. Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit!

Such a great place! We had so much fun meeting all the kitties and the great folks who work there too. We especially loved Squirrel and Parker. I know all the kitties will find great loving families and have an amazing temporary home with you all in the meantime. Keep up the great work. We'll be back for sure. Thanks again!
