Wonderful place with great staff who are willing to help out and really care.
Super lovely spot! Staff are super friendly and have info on local birding spots/events. There’s a wide selection of books and bird skins to take a look at. You can also purchase guides, binoculars, clothing, and other knick-knacks.
Lucky accident to drop by here during my first outing in Seattle. As a new birder, I love any opportunity to immerse myself in birding culture. Jacob was very kind and knowledgeable regarding my group’s many questions about local birding spots and numerous bird species. He walked us through the shop, suggested great resources, showed us the taxidermy closet, and explained the nuanced differences between several species of hawks, kingfishers, etc. I will definitely drop in again during my next trip to Seattle!
