I just could not be any happier with Seasons Mango Hill. Moving Mum from home in Victoria up to Qld was a BIG process. Her also having Alzheimers proved difficult in that finding somewhere that would accept her was limited. From day 1, the staff have been wonderful. They are supportive, loving and attentive. They know her on a personal level and make sure to include her in as many activities as possible. They call call me regularly to check in about her, making sure her time there is as good as possible. Poor communication in
What's discerning is the lack of interest staff have...I questioned a spectacle clad redhead female, concerning my elderly parent to which the reply was she is uncontactable. In fact my parent was contactable and available. I hope her mum never has to grove through this..
Communication is non existent and never get a call back to see how my mum is. She has dementia n can’t ring me herself. When I ring or go to seasons there is next to no staff n if there is their meetings n everything else is more important than patient care. I have been a nurse all my life and I am horrified with how my mum is being cared for. She has a history of falling n yet they leave her in the shower on a shower chair by herself n of course she fell ended up in hospital. This place needs to just use commonsense n do at... read more
