I recently moved my mom (who has dementia) into Seasons Ponoka. It was a time of great anxiety for our family, as it was a huge change for all involved. Stephanie and Shirley were so kind and supportive, answering my many questions and offering kindness when I felt like I would not make it through this process. My parents had lived there for a while and moved out last year to live with my sister. Today, it was time to move Mom back in, due to worsening dementia. She was understandably confused, scared and terribly upset. The staff all came around to welcome her back and made her feel right at home. By the time I left Mom was surrounded by her friends and staff, were making cookies and she was laughing. They made an extremely stressful situation so much better for my sister and I and I’m very grateful!

My father has been in this home for nine years. Consistently year after year the price goes up and the care goes down. We have had to hire an outside cleaner. They only clean once or maybe twice a month at most. Even then they spend less than 15 minutes cleaning a one bedroom with a kitchenette. They are supposed to provide maintenance. A linen closet door broke almost six months ago. Despite several requests it still hasn’t been fixed. Very great place for retired people to live and a friendly place even the staff are always willing to help
