I recently toured Seasons Retirement home Bowmanville with the Sales Manager, Sonia for my father who has moderate stage Alzheimers. Seasons has independent and assisted living as well as Memory care. Sonia was wonderful. Very informative about all aspects of the retirement home as well as being knowledable about Alzheimers. I have toured many homes with many Sales Managers and Sonia brought compassion and understanding to the discussion not just a sales hat. The Clarington Board of Trade is proud to have Season's Retirement Residence as a community partner as they are generous in allowing us to utilize their lovely space for various workshops and events. It's private, quiet and easily accessible. We are grateful for additional amenities such as coffee, tea, water and snacks that they are willing to provide which makes it even easier to welcome people for events. We would highly recommend reaching out to them if you are looking for space to conduct event of various sizes!
My mother lives here, and they overheard the dining manager complaining about a resident. This is unprofessional and unacceptable in a place where residents should feel respected. The food is cheap, unhealthy, and lacks nutritional value. While the servers are kind, the dining manager is consistently unaccommodating and rude. This behavior creates a negative environment and reflects poorly on the facility. I would never recommend this home.
