What a nightmare this bank has become. It is no longer a small local bank. Customer service is nonexistent. The new online platform is challenging to navigate, and compared to other banks, it doesn’t pay enough interest on its savings. My mom tells me she gets treated with respect at her local bank. I’m switching asap
Nothing but problems since they merged with Heartland National Bank. Once I get things straightened out here and settled down a little bit, then I will move to another bank. Edit to add... Still having problems just a month or so later. I was told my Heartland checks would be fine. However today they would not cash my Heartland check when I went inside. This bank has become nothing but fees—fees for this, fees for that. They are too strict, too. They denied me a mortgage while three other banks approved it. Heck, the other banks also approved both a personal loan and a credit card. In other words, it is a one-way street with this bank; only they win. Take your money elsewhere where you are appreciated, and plenty of local and online banks offer fee-free and higher interest on your savings.
Their a joke since they switched I do not recommend never had a single problem with heartland as soon as they switched it’s one problem after another it’s ridiculous really.
