This was by far my favorite field trip in my 20 years in education! The experience was completely hands-on and interactive, and I truly believe all kids should have the opportunity to participate. The instructors and staff are extremely knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate, making the learning both fun and meaningful. Seacamp isn’t what it once was. They discriminate against staff members who look a certain way. The facilities are outdated. They don’t train staff with up to date CPR. I wouldn’t trust anyone at Seacamp after what I experienced dealing with their director.

Please do your research before sending your children to this camp. Part of the property is a hazardous zone because the dorms ruined in hurricane Irma are still not repaired and blocked off by ugly orange fencing. The dorms are moldy. The main kitchen is unusable since Irma. The staff is overworked and trained poorly. It used to be a beautiful wonderful place, however it is now very run down and under poor management. I live in the keys and I stand by this statement .
