I came looking to buy pão de queijo, but I couldn’t find any brand in good condition because they were all defrosted. I found it strange that this happened across different brands. Some were even broken in half, which shows that the freezer is being defrosted and then the products are frozen again. Almost all of them were like this, regardless of the brand.
The bread is great but BE CAUTIOUS when buying other bakery items. I bought a tres leches cake and a chocolate eclair. The tres leches tasted sour and watery. Ive had many before but just in case I asked my wife who is spanish and she agreed and told me to dump it. My daughter took a bite of the chocolate eclair and spit it out.
