One of the best stores in Newark. Neat and well maintained grocery store with a huge variety of foods from South America. Exceptional customer service. The owner was kind enough to reach out personally about my lost id and return it. Highly recommend!
The store itself is ok , not great but ok. My problem is the amount of damage to cars and property around that store that's caused by the daily flow of trucks to the store. I can't even count how many times those trucks hit people's cars and just drive away leaving you to deal with the damage and financial consequences of a hit and run. They won't let you see their camera footage either , probably for that exact reason . So they are definitely not a community store , all they want from their community is their money .
