Fantastic serene setting for a conference or group gathering. But sometimes for us they ran out of food. That is totally unacceptable for the price we paid. Some in our group were eating butter for breakfast. Not butter on toast, or butter on a bagel, but just butter by itself.
Our ASG guild had a retreat at Seabeck this week. All the staff are warm and pleasant, and the food was excellent. The chef put effort into creating nostalgic dishes and from-scratch home cooking favorites. In fact, all the people who work there seemed to really enjoy hosting our group. The rooms were spotless, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained as well. Thank you for a lovely 3+ days!
