John Hurry will take you for everything he can get! – DO NOT LEASE from John Hurry and Scottsdale Capital unless you want to get seriously taken for a ride. Myself and half of the other tenants in his building experienced a tripling of CAM charged from the year previous to when he did not own the building. When Hurry was questioned about it, he claimed that his attorneys could research the matter at $450 an hour that the tenant would have to pay for. Outrageous Fees!!! Stay Away! They say they specialize in clearing stock certificates, which they do, however it will take 45 days to do so. When they finally clear them, they will absolutely rip your head off and serve it to you on a silver platter with fees. From a recent sale of stock, they took nearly 40% in deposit fees and commissions!
Very Expensive Broker - No Service for the Value – The fees and commissions are exorbitantly high at SCA. They claim to clear shares quickly but it takes 45 days at times to clear stock certificates. So not only do you have to wait a long time for it, after all of the fees you are left with literally 60% of the proceeds from sale of stock. Outrageous!
