My SVB bank card seems to be wearing out prematurely cencerly SVB customer
I have had no problems with SVB as I have with larger banks. I started with SVB because it was the only bank in town, but have stayed with them because they are always helpful and even helped me avoid a fraud situation with my ATM/Visa.
On line banking is the worst. DONT rely on balances to be accurate. You can look at it and get one balance, then an hour later get something totaly different, even when there has been no activity. I have found transactions double posted, and some not even posted. They show "pending transactions" as one lump sum, so you have no clue what is going to come out of your account. I use it because of direct deposit perks through my employer.
