Didn't order yet. This review is purely based on customer service. I put in a request on a engine that i wanted to get built by scott and not even a day later I got a email from mike answering all my questions and giving me a build time.
I don't write many google reviews but I have write a review as Shafiroff is top notch. I dealt in Vinnie when I bought my 598 pump gas engine in 2023 and Carl when I wanted an upgrade in 2025. They both knew what they were talking about and Carl still remembered my name. Carl was professional and honest about the upgrade. I highly recommend this team!!!
Recently ordered a 454 LSR build from them. Carl gave me personalized help and updates with my build and timelines along with photos. He and the shop went above and beyond what I expected. Definitely buying my next engine from them and would highly recommend them.
Had a 540 bbc power adder built for small power charger it was tuned perfectly it lasted ten miles all the pistons lifted the ring lands called the shop asked them if I could disassemble and I sent pictures to them and of course they told me it was a tuning issue I had a local performance engine builder take it apart all the rings were set for an n/a engine clearances were way to loose 4 thousands on the mains 3.5 thousands on the rods pistons weren’t designed for boost cam wasn’t even degreed inn off by a tooth any way they... read more
