I was lucky enough to go on one of Scott's workshops in the Mt. Rainier National Park. He is an amazing teacher and answers any question you may have. I learned a lot in only a few days, which has propelled my photography and how I view landscapes.

Scott is an amazing instructor,photographer and human being. He is incredibly patient, easy going and makes everyone around him feel comfortable. Did a photo tour in the North Cascades with Scott and it was amazing! Scott possesses both the photography and outdoor knowledge needed, as well as the easygoing and friendly personality to work with all kinds of people and meet them where they are as far as their photography and outdoors skills. When you join one of Scott's trips you instantly feel like you're with an old friend, which is a rarity! Couldn't recommend more highly!

I have done two private photography workshops with Scott and I will definitely be doing more! He is a caring and professional teacher with great attention to detail. He puts in the time before each workshop to speak with you and find out what your goals are so you get exactly what you need out of your time with him. Scott Kranz is a fantastic outdoor photographer and very generous about helping others to improve their photography skills. He is an excellent presenter and received many kudos for his presentation to the Tacoma Garden Club, which includes a number of very capable photographers. His newsletter is excellent and always includes a useful photographic tip. Finally, he is a really nice guy. See for yourself.
