Disappointed that my aunt endured such a poor experience. She was unfamiliar with navigating the probate process after her mother passed away, and was simply trying to understand her next steps. Instead of being respectfully informed of the retainer costs, an extremely unnecessary comment was made about whether she knew she had to pay the attorney. That remark felt condescending during an already difficult time. I hope future clients have a different experience from Whiteville’s finest.
