It clearly states online I can deposit a cheque into cash at a Scotiabank without a Scotiabank card or being a member, but I was denied today and I’m unsure of the reason why because I’ve went to CIBC before and they did it for me. I just changed my address and it doesn’t match on my license, she was gonna do it for me or “look into it” up until the point of where I said it didn’t match on my license. Some people don’t have all day to go to every bank and see which one is going to accept a cheque to cash deposit it.
