Absolute horrible customer service. I had an appointment booked with Shelly and she calls me on the day of the appointment and cancels it and says that her colleague will be in touch with options for me. No one was in touch... so I call her prior to our scheduled appointment and she says "there is nothing I can do for you". Such a waste of time. Will be moving all our accounts away from Scotiabank immediately.
What a waste of time. I came in here and nobody is asking me how they can help. Staff just walk around and past me, and no one is interested in wanting to know how they can be of help. I asked the only person at the counter (who was busy with another client), if there are other tellers that can help and he said they have all gone on lunch break... its past 1 pm! This branch should be able to make provisions for stand-by staff, just in case. I am not surprised by the low and terrible reviews... I'm taking my business to anoth... read more
These guys are terrible. They have the worst financial advisors I’ve ever dealt with. I tried to open a chequing account with them. Their website recommended doing it online, so I followed that. After applying, they told me I still had to go to a branch to verify my ID and pick up my debit card. Fine. I went in, only to be told by the advisor Raghav that I’m eligible for a year of free banking, but only if I had opened the account at the branch, not online. What?! I would like to say thank you Shelly for helping us . I got issues with cards (cards was stolen and used ) and Shelly was very patient and nice .
