Szende (the advisor) has always been extremely personable and helpful! I once had a mistaken charge of $100 on my account (due to a scam and US exchange rates), and the bank did not return that money, however.
This bank is awful put my funds on hold for no reason called them emailed them no one seems to get back to me when I get back I will 10000000% be changing banks!
The Scotiabank Pilot Sound branch is a horribly-run branch. I was accepted for a secured line of credit ($20000) through an online application. The bank inexplicably sent me a book of cheques with an unrelated account number on the cheques. I tried to set up an appointment online as required so I could get to the bottom of this. There were no slots available as far as I could go in their calendar (into mid September 2025). Excellent customer service by kamini
Worthless bank and inept robotic branch manager. Garbage bank machines that won't accept cash as they are broken. Useless manager would not give me new bills even though a customer was willing to exchange bills for me. Avoid this lousy branch at all costs.
