how is there only ever one person working? every time i’ve come here i’ve had to wait in ridiculously long lineups, at one point the person working was helping 2 different people at once that’s how bad this place gets
This review is going to be completely about the employee Matthew Storey. I was having a lot of issues with Scotiabank due to getting a very large lump sum payment, and then trying to e transfer money to my spouse to pay off debts. The Fraud department locked down my account for a few days. Every single employee except Matthew that I dealt with was little to no help, and made the experience difficult. I visited the Scotiabank branch to request printing of my trade documents and was assisted by Sutanya Brown, the Assistant Branch Manager. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Her behavior was unprofessional and dismissive, and she made me feel uncomfortable for making a simple, reasonable request. Instead of offering help or explaining any policy clearly, she responded in a rude and arrogant manner. Slow service. Only one person assisting customers. Took 15 minutes and there were only two ahead of me.
Booked an appointment with an advisor, 2 minutes later, received email stating the appointment has been cancelled. No one ever contacted for the cancellation of the appointment.
