Unacceptable incompetence and systemic unprofessionalism – Scotiabank 242 Hargrave Today I visited the Scotiabank branch at 242 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, to open a simple chequing account. What followed was a clear display of disorganization, poor training, and complete lack of customer respect. I was initially told I could not open an account without an appointment. That bank is terrible. They lie about the dates, and the terms change every day. You can’t trust anything they say.

The lady at front desk at hargrave branch seems like she needs basic training first. My husband has applied for credit card here. She called us and said to my husband if you can come as your credit card has reached to us . He went there , then she asked his name and all info and later said no your card hasnot arrived yet . and also asking him questions related to his personal life and when he said why are you asking me all these questions and she said dont harass me. wooooo ! terrible lady ! I called them yesterday for some inquiry and they booked me an appointment. I went there first of all they didn’t know about the appointment and when someone came, I went to her office and literally she told me I have another appointment. Very very poor customer service
