I have gone back to bank with the big 3 banks. I've had 2 of my ATM cards swallowed in the last year at this location because Scotiabank is too cheap to upgrade their atm machines. These older machines are very vulnerable to having your atm cards stuck. Unlike the big 3 that uses the newer generation of atm machines where you can tap, Scotiabank still uses old atm machines at their all their so the risks are all the same. This is the only Scotia branch where I get heavily questioned for deposits & withdrawals. Today I got carded when trying to withdrawal reasonable amount of money. Do I look like a scumbag? Like what is it?

Poor experience with this branch. Does not share mortgage rates offered to clients - staff was unprofessional, late, and refused to provide services without a credit check. As a client, a credit check will negatively impact your credit score at no cost to the seller. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. My experience with other banks in the local area was better where rates were provided. This included TD and CIBC.
