My experience with Kaustav was fantastic.
Horrendous service of all the scotiabanks I’ve been to.
The last three tries at getting cash were total failures. Yesterday (Sunday) the atm was down for withdrawals. Last week the atm was down and when I went into the branch only one teller statin worked. The line up was bad so I left. Finally the ability to deposit cheques thru the atm is less than 50%. I will open another account elsewhere just to get cash when I need it!!
Unprofessional. Had our mortgage through them and they were not helpful at the time of renewal. We decided to switch banks and they became unresponsive. Called me one day and told me to call back to finalize something. I called back three times and left a voicemail but they never got back to me. Online people very helpful and resolved my issue immediately but wouldn’t go anywhere near this branch.
The app rarely works to deposit cheques, so you reluctantly go to the branch. The ATM also rejects those cheques, so you reluctantly go inside... Except the door is locked because they don't open this location until 10am. A whole new definition of the worst service that banking has to offer. They can't get the bank open before morning coffee but they have plenty of staff to call you to market their garbage "financial products". Take your business to literally any other bank if you value your sanity.
