The Uxbridge personnel are most patient, helpful and kind ! It's the scotiabank company itself that has caused bank errors NOT in my favour; they are often inaccessible with lengthy wait times on the phone. I threaten withdrawal of all, then a kind UX. banker wins me back to loyalty , with their sincere helpfulness.
Absolutely by far the worst bank you could open an account with. The last two visits I have made to the Uxbridge branch I had the same rude unpleasant teller. She is very unwelcoming and stares at you with a blank stare not helpful in any way. I work 9-5 same hours as the bank and I managed to get off work a little earlier to take care of what should have been a simple matter of opening an account. I was told make an appointment. The bank teller completely lied and said I had to give weeks notice if I wanted to make a withdrawal and also said that it was “policy” to ask what the withdrawal was for. Vanessa was the name of the bank teller, it shoulf not be that difficult to make a withdrawal
