Update 06/06/25: Changing from two stars to one. It has now been two weeks trying to open a simple chequing account. Three times going into the branch. Twice on calls with the bank. My account is still not fully active. The branch says I have to call to fix it. When I call they say only the branch can fix it. I have talked with one or two good people, but overall the branch seems to be incompetent. Will update again as things progress. How many bankers does it taken to open a chequing account? Wow. Wow. Lots of bad reviews. My experience today was also bad. Trying to open an account. Confusing directions from staff inside. Bad attitude once someone finally saw me. Information in person conflicted with what they told me online. Basically they said they couldn't help me and I had to come back in a few days. I will try again and update reviews if they do better. But I think this location is poorly managed. Just looking for a bank with basic competence.

I then tried to contact them directly over the phone only to waste my time further. Management of this branch needs to be changed.

I then booked an in-person appointment and still had to wait at least 10 minutes past my scheduled time, eventually having to stand in line just to be seen.
