I have never encountered a branch manager as dismissive and unwilling to help as the one at this branch. From the very beginning, she showed little interest in addressing the issue, even though Scotiabank customer care and a manager from another branch both confirmed that the matter could be easily resolved by the home branch manager at their discretion. I had a very disappointing experience at scotia oceans branch. The manager I spoke with was extremely rude and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner. When I asked about a service charge that was added to my account, she told me they didn’t have enough staff to explain it to me. Staffing issues are not the customer’s concern, and I expected better service. She was unwilling to help resolve the issue.
