Went in at 4:20 pm to deposit some cheques. They are open until 5. The teller refused to deposit them as they didn’t do cash transactions after 3. What cash? I just wanted to deposit the cheques. I don’t understand why they were open until five if they won’t help you after three. And no. This is an estate account so you can’t deposit at the bank machine.
This bank is never staffed appropriately and when you go in you have to wait so long in line for service. Why open a branch in Riverview if not prepared to serve the customers in that area efficiently?
All Scotia banks just hate there customers
Our mortgage was up for renewal, so me and my wife made an appointment 1 month before our renewal was due. We went, had all of our financial paperwork in order and was told that they had to look into things from a past Scotiabank screw up and that they would get back to us in a week or two. Fast forward 3 months and I was auto renewed at a closed fixed of 7.69%.
