Our mortgage was up for renewal, so me and my wife made an appointment 1 month before our renewal was due. We went, had all of our financial paperwork in order and was told that they had to look into things from a past Scotiabank screw up and that they would get back to us in a week or two. Fast forward 3 months and I was auto renewed at a closed fixed of 7.69%. Terrible hours
If I could give a zero rating I would. Ive been a client of Scotia Bank since 2005. I transferred my accounts from Halifax to here. BIG MISTAKE. I do 90 percent of banking online. The odd time I go to the tellers. As I wait in line, someone asks" What brings you in today" I need to deposit a cheque, You know you can do that through the machine...... Well 3 times in the last month I went through the drivethru and it was down. I then park and go inside and its after 3 so no teller service so I wait in line to use the one bank ... read more
